Abstract: Interval-valued data appear as a way to represent the uncertainty affecting the observed values.Dealing with interval-valued information systems is helpful to generalize the applications of rough setAttribute reduction is a key issue in analysis of interval-valued data.Existing attribute reduction methods for single-valued data are unsuitable for interval-valued data.So far, there have been few studies on attribute reduction methods for interval-valued data.

Interval type-2 fuzzy logic based radar task priority assignment method for detecting hypersonic-glide Research Articles

Fanqing MENG, Kangsheng TIAN,maoximengruizhi@126.com,tiankangsheng@sohu.com

Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering 2022, Volume 23, Issue 3,   Pages 488-501 doi: 10.1631/FITEE.2000560

Abstract: A radar task method based on was designed to solve the problem of resource management for to detect hypersonic-glide vehicles (HGVs). The mathematical model of the radar task and the motion and detection models of HGVs are described in detail. The target threat of an HGV is divided into maneuver, speed, azimuth, and distance threats. In the radar task method based on IT2FLS, the maneuver factor, speed, azimuth difference, distance, and initial priority are input variables. The radar task priority is the output variable. To reduce the number of fuzzy rules and avoid rule explosion, an IT2FLS with a hierarchical structure was designed. Finally, the feasibility of the task method was verified by simulations. Simulation results showed that the method based on IT2FLS has a higher precise tracking rate, mean initial priority, and target threat degree, and a shorter offset time.

The Research and Application of Interval Numbers of Three Pa rameters

Hu Qizhou,Zhang Weihua, Yu Li

Strategic Study of CAE 2007, Volume 9, Issue 3,   Pages 47-51

Abstract:

To evaluate the cost risk and the schedule risk of the spaceflight project,  the schedule-cost (S-C) correlation coefficient is directly appointed according to the experts' experience usually.  This paper deduces SDMCU (the schedule distribution model considering the effect of the cost uncertainty),  and then proposes the approximate formula to estimate the ln (S)-C correlation coefficient based on the models of SDMCU and CDMSU (the cost distribution model considering the effect of the schedule uncertainty).  Furthermore,  an approximate relationship expression of the S-C and the ln (S)-C correlation coefficients is put forward according to general facts and the Taylor expansion,  and advanced by means of mass numerical validation is the general rule of obtaining the estimation value of the schedule-cost correlation coefficient based on the historical data.

Impacts of different diameter combinations on the temperature of a crude oil pipeline when colocating with a products pipeline

Bo YU, Yue SHI, Xin LIU, Jinjun ZHANG, Jinjia WEI,

Frontiers in Energy 2010, Volume 4, Issue 2,   Pages 192-197 doi: 10.1007/s11708-009-0074-1

Abstract: In order to show the effects of different diameter combinations on crude oil temperature when a crude oil pipeline and a products pipeline are laid in one trench, four typical diameter combinations are selected to conduct numerical simulation. After a series of calculations, the minimum mean temperature difference and the maximum temperature difference of the crude oil along the pipelines are obtained. In real pipeline constructions, the effects of other diameter combinations on crude oil temperature can be predicted by the method of linear interpolation to calculate results of the four diameter combinations obtained in this study.
